| Vice Minister Gao Hucheng Delivered a Speech on China-Danmark Investment and Trade Symposium |

Gao Hucheng, Vice Minister of Commerce of PRC, and State Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark attended and addressed China-Danmark Investment and Trade Symposium.
Vice Minister Gao Hucheng said in his speech that Denmark was an important trading partner of China in Nordic area, and China-Denmark had good economic and trade cooperation basis, big potential, strong complementarity and bright future. China appreciated that Danish government's attitude to advocate free trade and to be against trade protectionism. It was 55 anniversary this year since China and Denmark established diplomatic relations, and China was willing to enhance cooperation with Denmark in resource, environmental protection, high-tech and cooperation between small and medium enterprises, and enlarge exchange in IPR protection.
State Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark said that Denmark advocated free trade and Denmark was a real partner of China in the process of economic globalization. Denmark appraised Chinese progress in market economic reform and endeavor in IPR protection, and Denmark was willing to participate in the Chinese strategy of Western Development. Denmark had best business environment in the world and welcomed Chinese enterprises to make investment.
The symposium was jointly sponsored by MOFCOM, Trade Council of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and Chinese Embassy in Denmark. Zhen Jianguo, Chinese ambassador to Denmark and over 170 representatives from China and Danish enterprises and commercial institutes attended the symposium. |
