The China-ASEAN Expo, proposed by H.E. Mr. Wen Jiabao, Premier of P.R. China and co-sponsored by the departments in charge of economy and trading of China and the 10 ASEAN countries as well as the ASEAN Secretariat, is a grand international event of state level for economic and trading exchanges, which is held annually in Nanning, China.
I. Date: October 31 – November 3, 2006
II. Venue & Scale
Venue: The Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center, Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region
Scale: An exhibition space of 80,000m2 will be used for setting up 3,300 booths (3m×3m), of which 2,500 are indoor international standard booths, and 800 are outdoor ones.
Booth & Rental
I) Booth Specification & Equipments Included
1. Each standard booth is 9m2 (3m×3m), and equipped with 1 fascia board, 3 side boards (booth at the corridor corner will have 2 side boards and 2 fascia boards), 1 desk, 2 chairs, 2 spotlights, 1 500W single-phase socket, 1 waste basket and carpet.
2. Minimum gross exhibition space for rent is 36m2, exclusive of supporting facilities. Exhibitors are liable for their own expenditures for special design of booths, including those for electricity, exhibition equipment leasing, booth cleaning and installation, etc.
II) Booth Rental
Standard Booth: USD1, 200/booth
Indoor Net Space: USD120/m2
Outdoor Net Space: USD60/m2
More preferences are offered to exhibitors who satisfy the following requirements:
1. A discount of 10% off the standard rental is given to the enterprises that submit application and provide company information (including company title, major exhibits, contact information, etc) before August 15.
2. A discount of 5% off the standard rental is given to the enterprises that have participated in the previous CAEXPO and will participate in the 3rd CAEXPO.
3. A discount of 5% off the standard rental is given to the enterprises that will use an exhibition space over 100m2.
Qualified exhibitors can enjoy all the above preferences simultaneously.
The CAEXPO Secretariat provides one (1) e-booth for each exhibitor at http://www.caexpo.org, the official website of the CAEXPO.
Exhibitor's Registration
I) Deadline: August 31, 2006
II) Qualifications for Registration
1. Any enterprise participating as exhibitor shall be possessive of legal licenses in country/region where it is located.
2. Any enterprise participating as exhibitor shall observe The On-site Administration Measures of the 3rd China-ASEAN Expo.
III) How to Register as Exhibitor
1. Register On-line: Log on the official website of the CAEXPO, fill in The 3rd China-ASEAN Expo Registration Form and then submit it.
2. Register with ASEAN co-organizer of the CAEXPO in your country: Upon filling in The 3rd China-ASEAN Expo Registration Form (for Exhibitors) (Annex 1),mail or fax it to the co-organizer of the CAEXPO in your country.
3. Register with the CAEXPO Secretariat: Mail or fax The 3rd China-ASEAN Expo Registration Form (for Exhibitors) (Annex 1) to the CAEXPO Secretariat upon filling in necessary information.

Booth Confirmation & Rental Payment
I) Deadline: September 15, 2006
II) Booth Confirmation
The China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat, upon receiving The 3rd China-ASEAN Expo Registration Form (for Exhibitors), will confirm the receipt within 3 working days, then deliver a written confirmation before September 15, and arrange booths accordingly for the enterprise whose application is accepted.
III) Rental Payment
Upon receiving the Booth Confirmation from the CAEXPO Secretariat, exhibitors should remit relevant booth rentals to the designated accounts listed below within the set period of time. The booth confirmation is valid subject to due payment.

How to Register as Purchaser
1. Register On-line: Log on the official website of the CAEXPO, fill in The 3rd China-ASEAN Expo Registration Form and then submit it.
2. Register with the departments in charge of economy and trading, Supporting Chambers of Commerce of CAEXPO (see Annex 3) or the organizations/enterprises authorized by the CAEXPO to organize professional visitors: Mail or fax The 3rd China-ASEAN Expo Registration Form (for Purchasers/Visitors) to departments concerned, chambers of commerce or organizations/enterprises mentioned above upon filling in necessary information.
3. Register with the CAEXPO Secretariat: Mail or fax The 3rd China-ASEAN Expo Registration Form (for Purchasers/Visitors) to the CAEXPO Secretariat upon filling in necessary information.

The China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat, upon receiving your registration form, will deliver invitation accordingly.
Visitor may obtain pass by presenting invitation, business card, valid ID card and recent photo.
